Relationship Manager – Agribusiness (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Relationship Manager will join ANZ’s Business & Private Bank team in Shepparton, focusing on the agribusiness segment. Working alongside an Assistant Manager, you will manage a portfolio of SME customers, driving growth through acquisition, deeper share of wallet and referrals while delivering tailored banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of agribusiness customers with a customer‑centric approach.
• Collaborate with product partners and credit teams to structure working‑capital, transaction banking and asset‑finance deals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with operations teams to improve efficiencies and minimise non‑lending losses.
• Prepare credit proposals, conduct industry and portfolio analysis, and ensure compliance with audit and QA standards.
• Work closely with lending services to monitor provisions and manage risk.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial or SME banking, preferably with exposure to agribusiness clients.
• Strong analytical and credit assessment skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and commitment to regulatory and audit compliance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of working‑capital financing, transaction banking and asset finance products.
