Registered Nurse - Special Care Nursery

About the role

Mercy Health's Special Care Nursery is a 15-bed Level 4 unit providing family-focused care to babies born from 32 weeks gestation. It is seeking a motivated, experienced neonatal nurse for a permanent full-time position of 38 hours per week on a rotating roster. The salary is set in line with the Enterprise Agreement, based on years of experience, with an hourly base rate between $42.54 and $52.82.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife
• Strong commitment to high-quality, family-centred care
• Resilient, compassionate and committed to patient-centred care
• Recent experience caring for sick or premature neonates
• Postgraduate qualification in Special Care Nursery or Neonatal Intensive Care desirable
• Police record check and Working with Children Check, and proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccinations consistent with public health orders
