Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout

About the role

Concord Repatriation General Hospital, part of Sydney Local Health District (NSW Health), is seeking experienced Scrub Scout nurses to join its team. The hospital has cared for the veteran community for more than 70 years and now serves the communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond. This is a casual position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with patients and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality nursing care.

Required profile

• Current Nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• At least two years of perioperative experience with proficiency in sterile techniques (scrub/scout), anaesthetics, or in the Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Full working rights within Australia.
