Registered Midwife – Maternity Services

About the role

Cabrini Health is recruiting experienced Registered Midwives for its Maternity Services team at Cabrini Malvern. The service is a private model of maternity care, partnering with accredited obstetricians and paediatricians, and includes six birthing suites, 25 postnatal beds and a Level 2 Special Care Nursery. Midwives can work across the Birth Suite, Postnatal and Special Care Nursery. The employer supports career development through an 18-month Graduate Diploma of Midwifery program with Deakin University, scholarships and ongoing professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, woman-centred maternity care
• Support women and their families throughout their maternity journey
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Care for women with both low-risk and complex maternity needs
• Contribute to exceptional clinical outcomes and patient experiences

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a midwife
• A minimum of 3 years' midwifery experience
• Bachelor of Midwifery or an equivalent Australian-recognised qualification
• Commitment to patient-centred care

Required skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
