Regional Manager – Military (Northern QLD)

About the role

Acumen Health is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead on‑ and off‑base service delivery for Defence and veteran contracts across Northern Queensland. You will oversee operations, build high‑performing teams and ensure outcomes meet contractual KPIs and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional service delivery, monitor KPIs, compliance and clinical governance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with ADF representatives and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Coach, recruit and retain staff, fostering wellbeing, engagement and safety.
• Manage regional P&L, revenue, margin and EBITDA to balance commercial and service quality outcomes.
• Represent Acumen Health at customer meetings, contract reviews and industry forums.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology or another allied health discipline with current registration.
• Minimum 5 years experience in occupational rehabilitation, injury management or similar.
• Proven operational leadership, people management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets, commercial outcomes and financial performance metrics.

• Professional registration in an allied health discipline.
