Quality Engineer (VIE) – Muswellbrook

About the role

The VIE Quality Engineer will support Bouygues Construction Australia’s infrastructure projects in Muswellbrook, focusing on Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) quality assurance. You will work closely with construction and commissioning teams to embed robust quality processes and ensure compliance across all installations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a project quality management system together with construction and commissioning teams.
• Implement and verify the effectiveness of quality control and assurance processes for the M&E scope.
• Promote a culture of product quality and process efficiency among project personnel, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor and drive the M&E team to meet agreed quality performance KPIs.
• Manage interfaces between construction, commissioning and the broader quality team.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical or related).
• 2‑3 years of experience in quality assurance or related engineering roles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, influencing and planning capabilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently.
• Good level of English.
