Psychologist – Child and Youth Services

About the role

Join Early Start Australia’s allied health team in Elizabeth to provide assessment, counselling and therapy for children, young people and their families. You will work across clinic, home, school and community settings, delivering evidence‑based, client‑centred services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct new client assessments using referrals, questionnaires and standardized tools (e.g., WPPSI, WISC, WRAT, WRAML, ADOS, MIGDAS).
• Develop, implement and review individualized therapy programs, delivering services in multiple settings and collaborating with allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes, produce timely reports for stakeholders and funding bodies, and ensure privacy and compliance with registration standards.

Required profile

• Relevant psychology qualification with AHPRA and Psychology Board of Australia registration.
• Demonstrated experience in solution‑focused therapy, early intervention and working with children and families.
• Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening, police check and first aid certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standardized assessments: WPPSI, WISC, WRAT, WRAML, ADOS, MIGDAS.
• Strong observational, report‑writing and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage caseloads autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
