Project Officer – Engagement

About the role

The Engagement team supports young people to participate in education, training and employment, including those at risk of contact with the youth justice system. As a Project Officer – Engagement you will provide high-quality project and coordination support for key student engagement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an electronic mailbox, maintain clear records and workflow documentation.
• Review, interpret, assign, circulate and track incoming requests promptly.
• Consolidate, edit and quality-assure correspondence, briefing notes and requests in line with corporate standards.
• Provide clear advice and feedback to branch officers on emerging trends and project progress.
• Perform a variety of administrative and project support services as directed, including financial and human-resource monitoring.

Required profile

• Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting project and administrative tasks, including financial and HR monitoring.
