Project Manager – Playgrounds & Outdoor Fitness

About the role

KOMPAN is seeking a hands‑on Project Manager to lead the delivery of high‑quality playgrounds and outdoor fitness spaces across South Australia. You will own the full project lifecycle, from planning through to handover, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget compliance, and superior quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction and installation projects across metro and regional sites in South Australia.
• Coordinate subcontractors, installers, and on‑site activities.
• Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and site safety standards.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and delivery outcomes.
• Identify and resolve issues early to avoid delays and rework.
• Liaise with clients, councils, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee quality control and project handover, minimising defects and after‑sales issues.

Required profile

• Practical, experienced Project Manager comfortable working independently.
• Based in South Australia with a current driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly to metro and regional project sites.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Experience in construction, civil, landscaping, or installation project management.
• Strong understanding of Australian WHS requirements.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site‑based teams.
• Capability to handle multiple projects at different stages.
