Project Manager

About the role

As a Project Manager within Capricorn’s Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), you will lead assigned projects from initiation and planning through to delivery and closure. You will establish clear scope, governance and project controls while actively managing time, cost, quality, risk, budgets, dependencies and delivery outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional project teams, coordinating internal contributors, business representatives, technology resources and external suppliers.
• Maintain stakeholder communication through regular reporting, governance forums and proactive issue resolution.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, expenditures and variances, ensuring financial and commercial accountability.
• Oversee projects that may include IT technology, infrastructure and business improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience planning, leading and delivering complex projects within scope, time, cost, quality and risk tolerances.
• Proven ability to lead teams of five or more and to influence diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong governance and control capability, including risk, issue and dependency management.
• Solid financial and commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets.
• Understanding of information security, data governance and privacy requirements.

Required skills

• SQL database technologies.
• Project and collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Project).
• Project management certifications (PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMP).
