About the role
As a Project Manager you will lead the start‑up, initiation and day‑to‑day governance of corporate projects, initially supporting Capricorn’s Communications and Engagement team and the Powering Forward 2030 Strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Define scope, develop project plans and schedules, coordinate resources, and manage budgets and risks.
- Oversee business‑led initiatives and event programmes such as the biennial Convention, Captivate, Gala Dinner and Trade Shows.
- Maintain stakeholder communication through reporting and governance, monitor quality, evaluate outcomes and ensure deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
Required profile
- At least five years’ experience planning, leading and managing project teams.
- Strong application of project management disciplines (risk, issue, dependency, resource, change and budget management).
- Understanding of systems and processes within a complex environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines with close attention to detail and accuracy.
Required skills
- Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure and IT technologies.
- Practitioner‑level project management certification (AgilePM, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
