Procurement & Category Manager – Technology & Digital

About the role

Join ASIC's Procurement, Property & Contracts Team as a Procurement & Category Manager – Technology & Digital (EL1). You will lead category management, procurement and contract activities across the technology and digital portfolio, delivering value‑for‑money outcomes and building strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end ICT, infrastructure and technology category strategies, including demand planning, sourcing, contracting and supplier management.
• Deliver complex, high‑value ICT and infrastructure procurements in compliance with Commonwealth procurement legislation and policy.
• Develop category roadmaps using market intelligence, spend analytics and emerging technology trends.
• Manage procurement risks such as supplier dependency, cyber risk and data risk.
• Establish supplier relationship management frameworks and support contract owners with performance, renewals and commercial issues.
• Drive supplier optimisation, innovation, sustainability and diversity outcomes, including engagement with SMEs and Indigenous suppliers.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and procurement certification.
• 5+ years Commonwealth Government procurement experience, with strong knowledge of CPRs, PGPA Act and related frameworks.
• Significant experience leading ICT, IT infrastructure and technology‑related procurement activities.
• Commercially astute, strategic, with proven stakeholder influence and team leadership.
