Procurement and Contracts Advisor (AO6) – Fixed Term

About the role

The Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is seeking two Procurement and Contracts Advisors at AO6 level to support low‑to‑medium risk procurements and contract management for a major rail infrastructure program. This fixed‑term position runs until September 2028, with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic and operational objectives of the procurement and contract management team.
• Prepare, administer and review procurement and contract documentation.
• Coordinate contract administration processes and maintain accurate records.
• Identify, manage and advise on contract and procurement risks.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.
• Execute end‑to‑end procurement activities including planning, market engagement, evaluation, negotiation support, contract award and contract management for low‑to‑medium risk procurements.
• Monitor and process procurement requisitions, ensuring alignment with contracts or Standing Offer Arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance and procurement frameworks.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in contract administration across multiple categories, including ICT, professional and corporate services.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
