Practice Nurse – Women’s Health Team

About the role

Full Circle Care is seeking a compassionate Practice Nurse to join its dedicated women’s health team. Working three days a week in a supportive clinic environment, you will collaborate with GPs, a gynaecologist and allied health practitioners to deliver high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a smoothly running treatment room and prepare equipment for examinations and minor procedures.
• Assist patients during examinations, minor surgical procedures, post‑surgical care, vaccinations and iron infusions.
• Provide patient education, health promotion and support for reproductive health, menopause and chronic condition management.
• Document clinical encounters accurately using electronic medical record systems.
• Uphold infection‑prevention standards and privacy/confidentiality policies.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, unrestricted.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in women’s health, gynaecology or primary care.
• Experience assisting with minor procedures and delivering post‑procedure care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with diverse patients.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice, trauma‑informed care and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Clinical documentation expertise.
• Knowledge of infection prevention protocols.
