Perioperative Nurse (Instrument Circulating)

About the role

Sydney Local Health District is recruiting a Registered Nurse - Perioperative for Concord Repatriation General Hospital, a public hospital serving the communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond. The role is permanent and full time, 38 hours per week, with a salary of $81,748 to $114,771 per year plus superannuation.

The Perioperative nurse provides patient-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team assisting with patient care during surgery. The position specifically seeks nurses with advanced skills in the instrument circulating role.

Required profile

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
• Demonstrated commitment to person-centred care and NSW Health Core Values.
• Full working rights within Australia.

Required skills

• Advanced skills in the instrument circulating role.
• Ability to work a rotating roster and participate in on-call requirements.
