About the role
The People & Culture Generalist supports Shark Ninja’s ANZ business by managing day‑to‑day people operations, from recruitment to employee lifecycle and HR administration. The role ensures a positive employee experience, accurate data, and effective support for hiring, engagement, and culture initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment activities: post ads, schedule interviews, conduct first‑round interviews, perform reference and background checks, and manage candidate communication.
- Own employer branding for recruitment, creating engaging job ads that attract the right talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to improve hiring efficiency, provide interview coaching, and run attracting excellence training.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles.
- Manage pre‑employment checks, contracts, new‑starter documentation, system setup, and day‑1 onboarding activities.
- Oversee end‑to‑end onboarding and off‑boarding processes, serving as the primary point of contact for employee queries.
- Maintain employee records in Oracle, learning platforms, and HR databases, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance.
- Conduct monthly audits and cross‑checks of employee data versus contracts and starter forms.
- Process HR‑related purchase orders, invoices, and procurement records.
Required profile
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a focus on delivering a customer‑centric employee experience.
- Ability to build relationships across all employee levels and act as a trusted HR partner.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
