About the role
TAFE Queensland is seeking a part‑time Nursing Teacher for its Toowoomba campus. This temporary 0.5 FTE position runs until 30 June 2027 and involves delivering nursing courses through classroom, online and workplace settings, with occasional travel across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging nursing curriculum using a variety of teaching methods.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning resources and assessment tools.
- Support diverse learners and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the Educational Team Leader and other faculty members.
Required profile
- Recent professional experience in the nursing industry.
- Relevant nursing qualifications and industry certifications.
- Passion for sharing knowledge and developing future healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work flexibly across classroom, online and workplace contexts.

What we offer
- Salary range $46,465 – $61,042 (gross) per annum.
- Four weeks recreation leave and five weeks non‑attendance time.
