Part-Time Marketing Virtual Assistant

About the role

A part-time Marketing Virtual Assistant is sought to support a client's digital advertising and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is a marketing professional with hands-on experience in paid advertising, content creation, asset management and budget management across Meta and Google platforms, working in Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Key responsibilities

• Website and product management: review and update product pricing and details on the e-commerce platform, optimise SEO meta fields, set up and manage Google Analytics, and maintain the contact page
• Content creation and social media: create and publish content on Instagram and Facebook, develop video ideas and content strategies, write blog posts, and manage overstock-related content and promotions
• Digital advertising: create and manage Meta and Google ad assets, set up and optimise campaigns in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, manage budgets and track performance, research keywords with tools such as Google Trends, and report regularly
• General marketing support: identify ways to improve ad performance and reduce cost per result, stay up to date with digital marketing trends, and help with pre-campaign groundwork

Required profile

• Proven experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns
• Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and paid advertising strategies
• Experience in budget management, audience targeting and performance tracking
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and e-commerce product optimisation
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Content marketing and blog writing knowledge
• Google Analytics or similar reporting tools
• Basic website management skills
