Part-Time Demi Chef

About the role

The Novotel & ibis Styles Melbourne Airport, a dual-branded hotel opened on 1 July 2024, is looking for a part-time Demi Chef. You will work with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to supervise the kitchen and related venues, including conference and events, while ensuring strict hygiene and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and food.
• A guest-obsessed team player.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Experience in pizza making, especially hand-stretched pizza, dough preparation and fermentation techniques.
• Experience preparing pasta, sauces and traditional Italian dishes, with a sound understanding of Italian cuisine.
