Operator Assistant – Cementing Services

About the role

Join Halliburton as an Operator Assistant I‑Cementing, supporting cementing service operations on oilfield sites. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with a range of cementing equipment while working under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with rigging‑up and rigging‑down of cementing service equipment, including spotting cement storage vessels and pre‑mixing spacer fluids.
• Set up and operate data monitoring equipment on site.
• Learn and support operation of cement pumps, blenders, liquid additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, data acquisition systems, Automatic Density Control (ADC) systems, bulk cement blending, delivery and storage systems, manifold equipment, and cementing plug releasing tools.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete associated paperwork.
• Promote safety, environmental awareness, and compliance with HSE regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
• Basic mathematical, reading, writing, and computer skills.
• Commercial driver licence may be required.
• Completion of Halliburton I‑Learn courses (Essential Mathematics, Red Book, Cementing 1) may be required.
