Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Operations Coordinator provides essential day‑to‑day support to keep Liberty Oil’s operations running smoothly. Acting as a key link between drivers, schedulers, customers and the Operations Manager, the role ensures continuity, compliance and strong service delivery across the depot network.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations, records management, driver support and fleet operation.
• Maintain accurate training, licensing, medical and operational records with high attention to detail.
• Assist toolbox meetings and provide operational communication with drivers.
• Coordinate driver onboarding, including administrative and training tasks.
• Handle overflow customer calls, assist customers and process incoming orders.
• Manage driver training records, licences and compliance requirements.
• Arrange medicals and ensure mandatory compliance checks are completed on time.
• Book trucks for servicing, track maintenance needs and manage fleet servicing coordination.

Required profile

• Strong operational skills with the ability to multi‑task and solve problems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships across departments and senior management.
• Ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams to achieve organisational goals.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
