Offshore Technician

About the role

EnerMech is seeking experienced Offshore Technicians for casual offshore assignments supporting pipeline flushing, cleaning, pressure testing and commissioning activities. You will join the Offshore Operations Team and work on major energy projects in challenging offshore environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Triplex and/or DHDA pumps during pipeline flushing, cleaning and pressure testing.
• Support safe setup, rig‑up, operation and maintenance of specialist process equipment.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and identify operational issues.
• Assist with testing and commissioning activities.
• Follow permit‑to‑work systems, operational procedures, risk assessments and client HSE requirements.
• Maintain the highest safety standards while working offshore.

Required profile

• Previous offshore operational experience.
• BOSIET or FOET with CA‑EBS certification.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Ability to work away from home for 2‑4 week offshore campaigns.
• Willingness to complete pre‑employment and client‑mandated background checks, including National Police Clearance.
• Highly regarded experience in the Bass Strait, MSIC Card and OEUK Medical Certificate.
• Experience with pipeline flushing, hydro‑testing, pressure testing or process operations.
