Officer ICT Support Services

About the role

Gympie Regional Council is seeking an Officer ICT Support Services to join its ICT Service Desk. The role provides first‑line technical assistance to around 650 internal and external customers across the Council, working on a roster that includes early‑start weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level phone and remote support for software, hardware, network and printing issues.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows desktop operating systems and applications.
• Set up and troubleshoot telephone, mobile devices and audio‑visual equipment.
• Provide on‑site assistance when remote resolution is not possible.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of ICT services and help‑desk processes.
