Occupational Therapist - Learning Support Team

About the role

Aspect, an autism-specific service provider, is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join its Learning Support Team at Aspect Riverina School in Wagga Wagga. It is a part-time, school and community-based role with a 12-month contract, 2 days per week, where you manage your own caseload within a supportive, collaborative clinical team. The pay is $81K-$120K pa pro-rata FTE, inclusive of super, phone and laptop.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver therapy supports to 3-4 participants per day in community settings
• Develop practical, goal-focused intervention plans
• Work with families, carers and support networks to build strengths-based, functional strategies
• Help participants build independence and everyday life skills in home, school or community
• Work autonomously in the community and as part of a supportive team

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Full AHPRA registration
• Current and valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (km and tolls reimbursed)
• Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) and Working With Children Check (state-based)
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Quality, Safety and You)
• Current RRHAN-EC certification (South Australia) or willingness to obtain it where required; international police check if required
