Observability Administrator – Sydney

About the role

Infosys is seeking an Observability Administrator to join its Sydney team. The role focuses on implementing and supporting Dynatrace observability solutions for clients, ensuring high‑quality monitoring and performance insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of Dynatrace, including configuration of process and service detection rules.
• Develop and deliver at least one proof‑of‑concept (PoC) for observability use cases.
• Provide L1, L2 and L3 support for Dynatrace activities across client environments.
• Configure Real User Monitoring (RUM) – user actions, session properties, request attributes, SLOs, calculated metrics, mobile app experience, funnel charts, etc.
• Adapt monitoring configurations to meet specific customer requirements.
• Map and analyse key problem areas based on client feedback and data.
• Leverage expertise in at least one cloud platform to integrate observability solutions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Dynatrace implementation and support.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver PoC projects.
• Strong knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience configuring RUM and related performance metrics.
• Problem‑solving mindset with ability to translate client needs into technical solutions.
