National Project Manager / Construction Manager (Remedial Projects)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager with a strong engineering background to lead complex remedial, structural and refurbishment projects across Australia. This national deployment role allows you to be based in any state while travelling to major project sites, providing technical leadership and ensuring safe, high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of remedial and structural projects, focusing on engineering integrity and constructability.
• Provide on‑site technical and engineering leadership, ensuring methodologies align with design intent.
• Develop and review construction methodologies, sequencing plans and temporary works designs.
• Manage project performance including programme, cost, risk and quality.
• Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, drawings and technical standards.
• Collaborate with design engineers, consultants and stakeholders to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Oversee subcontractor performance to meet technical and quality requirements.
• Support site teams with engineering guidance on high‑risk activities and drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Construction Manager or Project Engineer delivering remedial, structural or civil projects.
• Strong engineering background with ability to interpret and apply technical design documentation.
• Experience in concrete repair, structural strengthening, corrosion protection and façade remediation.
• Background working in brownfield or live operational environments.
• Demonstrated capability in methodology development, staging and constructability planning.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel nationally for project deployments.
