National Contractor and Estimating Manager

About the role

Amtec Disaster Recovery is seeking a National Contractor and Estimating Manager to lead contractor operations and estimation processes across Australia. Based in Bendigo, this full‑time, on‑site position ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate project scopes and prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to schedule and execute work.
• Ensure compliance with industry, company, and disaster‑recovery standards.
• Manage contract negotiations and monitor adherence to project timelines.
• Develop and maintain strong client and vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of project estimation, financial analysis, and pricing strategies in construction or restoration.
• Experience in contractor management and vendor negotiations.
• Understanding of compliance standards, risk assessment, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Excellent organizational, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, project management, or a related field.
