Mobile Frontend Developer (React Native)

About the role

Bridgit is looking for a Mobile Frontend Developer to shape the user experience of its lending platform. You will work across customer‑facing, broker, and internal tools, turning designs into fast, intuitive mobile interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain high‑performance, delightful user interfaces for mobile platforms using modern frontend technologies.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement feature designs for both customer and internal software.
• Write robust, well‑tested code and proactively identify areas for technical improvement or refactoring.
• Share ideas and improvements backed by sound technical reasoning.
• Participate in design and code reviews, support peers, and uphold the team’s technical standards.
• Mentor other engineers and champion best practices and a culture of quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a front‑end mobile developer.
• Hands‑on experience building and shipping mobile applications with React Native.
• Experience with the Expo framework and mobile deployment workflows.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design patterns.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with APIs and third‑party services.
• Familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play Store release processes.
• Comfortable taking ownership of features end‑to‑end, from architecture to delivery.
