Marketing & Communications Coordinator

About the role

SPA Australia is seeking a motivated Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join its Barton, Canberra office on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract with genuine potential for permanency. You will gain hands‑on, end‑to‑end marketing experience across digital, brand, internal communications, events and stakeholder engagement within a global consulting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing and monitoring marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Maintain brand consistency and help create marketing collateral and content.
• Lead implementation of marketing email and content management systems.
• Support social media activity, website updates and manage the digital content calendar.
• Draft, edit and proofread internal and external communications and materials.
• Develop internal communications, training materials, guidelines and instructions.
• Coordinate logistics for events, sponsorships and trade shows, managing timelines and suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal teams, practice leads and external partners to ensure timely project delivery.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in design, communications/writing, events or related marketing functions.
• Curious, creative and eager to broaden skills across the full marketing mix.
• Strong written communication abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
