Managing Director – Australia Business

About the role

This senior leadership position is responsible for steering the Australia business of a leading company in bonding, dispensing and process optimisation. The Managing Director will drive commercial growth, operational excellence and market expansion across the automation and packaging sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the business strategy to increase revenue, profitability and market share in Australia.
• Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial performance.
• Lead revenue generation through sales, key‑account management and strategic customer projects.
• Develop new market opportunities, partnerships and brand presence.
• Oversee operations and governance to ensure efficiency, compliance and alignment with corporate standards.
• Build and lead high‑performing teams, fostering a strong culture, capability development and employee engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of commercial or general management experience, preferably in automation or packaging manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline.
• Proven track record of leading teams and delivering business results.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Commercially focused with a problem‑solving mindset.
