Maintenance Technician – Mechanical/Electrician (Night Shift)

About the role

Join the WITRON Service Australia team as a Maintenance Technician working night shifts at our Redbank facility. You will support highly automated logistics systems, performing both mechanical and electrical maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, belts, rollers, cranes, bearings and related equipment.
• Install, refurbish and troubleshoot new and existing system components with minimal supervision.
• Work safely at heights up to 30 m and handle physical tasks such as walking, climbing, squatting and lifting up to 25 kg.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a “Safety First” mindset on all tasks.
• Utilise a range of computer systems for diagnostics and reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrician (Queensland) or qualified Mechanical tradesperson (Mechanic, Fitter & Turner, Diesel Mechanic, etc.).
• Strong electrical knowledge of 3‑Phase 415 V, DC and 24 V control systems.
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Physical fitness to perform regular walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling and standing for long periods.
