About the role
We are seeking a highly organised Logistics Coordinator to join a global leader in industrial manufacturing and automation on a 15‑month fixed‑term contract based in Bayswater. The role acts as a pivotal hub in the supply chain, overseeing end‑to‑end order flows, monitoring complex delivery chains and coordinating movement logistics.
Key responsibilities
- Process complex commercial orders in SAP, tracking fulfillment milestones from receipt to dispatch.
- Serve as the central liaison between local sales teams, external logistics partners and global manufacturing plants to secure accurate production and delivery dates.
- Proactively monitor backorders, resolve pipeline delays and communicate delivery schedules to customers.
- Coordinate technical and financial milestones, including credit clearance checks and export‑control compliance.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience using SAP for inventory tracking, order generation or supply‑chain movement.
- Background in logistics coordination, customer service or order management.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding, intra‑company movements or triangular transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and professional phone manner.
