About the role

As a Lead Electrical Engineer (I&C) for our Mining & Resources team in Brisbane, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineers solutions with people and outcomes in mind. You will partner with clients to deliver complex electrical, instrumentation and control projects, providing expert technical guidance from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver high‑quality project outcomes.
• Lead technical design packages and provide trusted engineering advice that enables confident, informed decisions.
• Shape innovative and resilient engineering solutions that create lasting value for clients and communities.
• Drive project performance through engineering excellence, optimisation and continuous improvement, while mentoring the next generation of engineers.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering qualifications in Electrical Engineering, coupled with RPEQ, CPEng or RPEng accreditation and extensive experience in electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• A proven track record delivering practical, impactful outcomes across oil and gas, mining or water projects.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, including technical reporting, client relationship management and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• The ability to see the big picture, challenge assumptions and develop effective engineering solutions while balancing technical, operational and project requirements.
• A flexible and hands‑on approach, with the ability to undertake site visits as required to support successful project delivery.
