Lead Development Representative (LDR) – Brisbane

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a driven Lead Development Representative (LDR) to join its Pacific team in Brisbane. In this role you will qualify inbound leads and execute outbound prospecting to generate high‑quality sales opportunities for the company’s industrial software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and respond to inbound leads, using qualification frameworks to determine fit and sales readiness.
• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads and maintain accurate lead data in the CRM.
• Plan and build targeted outbound prospect lists, research key accounts and decision‑makers, and craft personalized outreach across email, phone and social platforms.
• Follow a qualification framework to uncover business needs, budget and buying intent, and record all activities in the CRM.
• Work closely with local marketing, sales, technical sales and other stakeholders to align prospecting with market priorities.
• Continuously test and refine messaging to improve engagement and conversion rates.

Required profile

• Proactive communicator with strong planning and engagement skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing and sales teams.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of maintaining accurate data in CRM systems.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms for lead management.
