About the role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Kitchen Hand to join Sodexo's corporate hospitality team in Sydney. The role supports kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with basic food preparation, and ensuring a safe, efficient environment.
Key responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and back‑of‑house areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation.
- Support stock movement and storage.
- Follow food safety and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff as required.
Required profile
- Previous kitchen hand experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
- Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Full unrestricted working rights within Australia.
