Junior Security Analyst

About the role

As a Junior Security Analyst you will join Asahi Beverages’ cyber security team, helping protect the company’s digital assets and supporting a safer, more resilient environment. This development‑focused position is designed for students or recent graduates eager to build practical skills while making a tangible impact on the organisation’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in detecting and responding to cyber security incidents.
• Support proactive threat hunting and analyse emerging threats.
• Help tune and develop detection models.
• Update and improve operational playbooks.
• Participate in cyber capability exercises such as red‑team/blue‑team simulations.
• Contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

Required profile

• Currently studying a relevant tertiary degree (Cyber, IT, Computer Science or similar).
• No prior experience required – enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
• Curious, detail‑focused and passionate about cyber security.
• Basic understanding of computer science fundamentals.
