About the role
Aurecon is looking for a Junior Piping/Mechanical Designer to join its Perth Energy & Resources team. You will support the technical delivery of bulk fuel projects across government, oil & gas and mining sectors, gaining exposure to complex engineering challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Travel to sites across Australia to produce as‑built documentation of existing installations.
- Create P&IDs from site inspections.
- Develop 3D models using Plant 3D and Inventor.
- Utilise Autodesk and MicroStation tools to generate drawings, isometrics, line lists, material take‑offs and other drafting deliverables.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
Required profile
- Completed Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Enthusiasm for engineering innovation and continuous learning.
- Ability to work on site and in a collaborative team environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Autodesk software.
- Experience using MicroStation.
- Knowledge of Plant 3D.
- Familiarity with Inventor for 3D modelling.
