IT System Engineer – Level 2/3 (On‑site)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT System Engineer (Level 2/3) to join our team in Chadstone, VIC. The role is on‑site and involves designing, implementing and maintaining complex IT infrastructures for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain servers, operating systems, security tools and network protocols.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support escalation handling for client environments.
• Install and configure firewalls and networking equipment such as Fortinet, Meraki and Sophos.
• Collaborate with other engineers, vendors and customers to ensure optimal system performance.
• Perform patching, vulnerability management and routine system administration tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in system administration (Microsoft Server, Linux, VMware).
• Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is highly regarded.
• Hands‑on experience with SharePoint and client‑facing field engineering.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, CCNA or CCNP are preferred.
