IT Field Engineer – Grafton (Flexible/Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for skilled IT Field Engineers to provide on‑site support for a range of client environments in Grafton and surrounding areas. The role is ideal for freelancers or part‑time technicians who enjoy flexible, hands‑on work across hardware, software and networking tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st and 2nd level deskside support for PCs, mobiles, printers, AV devices and basic networks.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on end‑user devices.
• Install, image and configure Windows PCs in a corporate environment.
• Provide hardware support in data‑centre settings and liaise with remote support teams.
• Perform IMACD service requests, BreakFix incidents and Smart Hands assistance.

Required profile

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software and networking problems.
• Experience configuring, testing and installing network systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Office Suite and Active Directory.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently on‑site.
• IT degree, formal training or equivalent hands‑on experience.
