Internal Auditor

About the role

ComfortDelGro Australia is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls across its Australian operations. Reporting to the Group Chief Internal Audit Officer in Singapore and dotted‑line to the Australian CFO, you will act as a trusted advisor and lead risk‑based audits.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the internal audit plan for CDC Australia.
• Conduct audits across financial reporting, operations, compliance, IT and enterprise systems.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, SOPs and governance frameworks.
• Identify risks, control gaps and opportunities for productivity and cost savings.
• Prepare clear audit reports and track remediation actions to completion.
• Investigate identified or suspected risks, including potential fraud.
• Support compliance with regulatory, PII, EHS and sustainability requirements.
• Partner with business leaders to promote risk awareness and best‑practice controls.

Required profile

• Highly self‑motivated and independent with ability to work across domestic and international reporting structures.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• CPA or CA qualification.
• 5+ years experience in an internal audit role.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail and exceptional integrity.
• Confident communicator able to engage senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Australia.
