Information Management Officer

About the role

The Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) is seeking an Information Management Officer to support its mission of combating major crime and corruption in Queensland. The role involves managing electronic records, ensuring compliance with legislation, and providing expert advice on information governance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the electronic Document & Records Management System (eDRMS) across the organisation.
• Develop and apply search criteria for eDiscovery investigations using a range of information sources.
• Interpret and apply relevant legislation, standards and the QGCIO Records Governance Policy to ensure proper recordkeeping.
• Provide training, consultation and negotiation support to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Produce innovative solutions to complex information management challenges.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience delivering client‑focused service in a team environment.
• High‑level problem‑solving ability and sound judgement when handling sensitive or protected information.
• Demonstrated knowledge of public sector policies, legislation and recordkeeping standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic Document & Records Management Systems (eDRMS).
• Experience using the Content Manager system.
• Hands‑on experience with eDiscovery tools and formulation of search criteria.
