Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician

About the role

Gordon Brothers Industries, part of Johnson Controls, is Australia's largest industrial refrigeration company and is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician for its Sydney team. Reporting to the Service Manager, the technician delivers service and maintenance across a wide range of industrial refrigeration systems. The company is looking for someone reliable, self-driven and solutions-focused.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned and unplanned service and maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers
• Take part in company training programs and service meetings

Required profile

• Qualified or experienced Refrigeration Mechanic
• Current valid driver's licence
• Current ARC licence
• Current Restricted Electrical licence
• Previous industrial refrigeration experience (advantageous)
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• A positive and proactive approach to safety

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Ammonia system experience (advantageous but not essential)
