Hydroseeding Operator / Technician (Part‑time)

About the role

This part‑time, on‑site position is based in the Greater Adelaide Area and involves operating hydroseeding equipment to support erosion control, soil stabilization and revegetation projects for civil, infrastructure and mining sites.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot hydroseeding equipment.
• Prepare seed mixes and other materials for application.
• Inspect project sites and ensure work is completed to schedule and quality standards.
• Apply erosion control and revegetation techniques in line with environmental management plans.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with crew members and contractors during project execution.

Required profile

• Proficiency in operating, maintaining and troubleshooting hydroseeding equipment.
• Knowledge of erosion control, soil stabilization and revegetation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and environmental management standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and timely decision‑making.
• Physical fitness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Valid driver’s licence (preferred) and current white card.
• Experience in large‑scale infrastructure, civil or mining environments is an advantage.
