Human Resources Advisor

About the role

Penrite Group is looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join its People & Culture team. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will support leaders and employees across the business, delivering practical and compliant HR advice in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job advertising to contract drafting.
• Assist senior team members with employee‑relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions and performance management.
• Draft, review, update and implement HR policies.
• Administer Penrite’s HRIS (UKG) and training platform (Go1), ensuring data accuracy.
• Provide timely administrative support with high attention to detail.
• Maintain current departmental forms, templates and processes.
• Coordinate engagement initiatives with key stakeholders.
• Support payroll activities and act as a backup when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a HR/P&C role covering the employee lifecycle.
• Strong end‑to‑end recruitment experience.
• Background in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation; NZ legislation is a plus.
• High attention to detail, solutions‑focused mindset and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, specifically UKG.
• Experience using learning management systems such as Go1.
• Ability to design and manage workflows in LMS/HRIS environments.
