Human Resources Advisor – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join a purpose‑driven organisation in Wollongong on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. The role will provide end‑to‑end HR support across the employee life‑cycle, partnering with leaders to deliver practical people solutions that enhance capability and culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide generalist HR advice on employee relations, contracts and workforce matters.
• Manage high‑volume contract generation and workforce administration.
• Interpret Awards, the Fair Work Act and other employment legislation.
• Support performance management, employee relations and compliance activities.
• Partner with stakeholders across a multi‑site environment.
• Contribute to HR initiatives, policy improvements and process enhancements.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources (or currently studying).
• Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR / People & Culture role.
• Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, employment legislation and Awards.
• Excellent organisational ability to manage a high‑volume workload.
• Experience with contracts and HR operations.
• Proactive, adaptable and solutions‑focused attitude.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
