HSE Opportunities – Various Levels in Perth

About the role

Altrad is expanding its Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) team across a range of seniority levels for construction, oil & gas, maintenance and shutdown projects based in Perth. The roles are embedded in major industrial projects and focus on building a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage HSE documentation to meet Australian standards, client specifications and project plans.
• Review, control and issue construction permits, and actively participate in the permit‑to‑work process.
• Develop, review and maintain JSA and SWMS documentation and project‑wide controls.
• Lead or contribute to pre‑start meetings and toolbox talks, creating relevant content for the workforce.
• Conduct site inspections and audits, schedule corrective actions and ensure close‑out.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to line managers for timely treatment.
• Ensure all activities comply with state and federal legislation and company processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety processes and coach teams on the safety culture.

Required profile

• Proactive, results‑driven HSE professional.
• Experience working in dynamic, high‑performance construction or industrial environments.
• Ability to influence and embed safety culture across diverse teams.
