About the role
BHP is seeking Indigenous Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates to join its Human Resources team in Australia. The role offers the chance to work across a variety of HR service categories, providing advisory support, driving improvement initiatives, and contributing to a high‑performance culture.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with HR peers, business partners and subject‑matter experts.
- Provide accurate, timely advice on a wide range of HR queries.
- Support the implementation of improvement initiatives aligned with business strategy.
- Assist with reporting processes and develop insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Complete projects and ad‑hoc tasks to support the broader HR team.
- Promote a culture of high performance and disciplined work practices.
Required profile
- Degree or relevant qualification in Human Resources (new graduates welcome).
- Experience in HR with exposure to multiple HR functions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience working in a complex, fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Passion for supporting leaders and teams across the organisation.
