Hose Management Technician

About the role

EnerMech is seeking a mechanically‑minded, quality‑focused Hose Management Technician to join its Brisbane team. The role supports the Ampol Oil Refinery in Lytton, overseeing the planning, execution and safety of the Hose Integrity Management program on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and manage incoming and outgoing hose assemblies.
• Conduct QA/QC activities related to hose manufacture, delivery and dispatch.
• Manufacture hose assemblies according to company procedures and industry standards.
• Assist with hose pressure testing and certification.
• Coordinate hose deliveries and logistics to customer sites.
• Perform hose inspection, maintenance and management at client locations.
• Build and maintain relationships with customer representatives and hose focal points.
• Provide technical assistance on hose specifications, applications and maintenance requirements.
• Inspect used hose assemblies and prepare detailed condition reports.
• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient workshop environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years experience in a mechanical, hydraulic, hose or industrial services environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience with quality assurance and inspection processes.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures and industry standards.
• Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Good organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Current driver’s licence and full Australian working rights.
• Proactive attitude and commitment to workplace safety.
