Higher Education Course Adviser

About the role

As a Higher Education Course Adviser for the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors, you will guide prospective students through their enrolment journey, helping them choose the right counselling programmes. The position is permanent, full‑time and can be based at any AIPC campus with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with prospective students, families and stakeholders, providing a friendly and supportive environment.
• Guide students through the enrolment process, answering queries and ensuring a smooth transition into their chosen programmes.
• Promote the brand and educational offerings through outreach and marketing activities with organisations, schools and the local community.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate records and databases, demonstrating attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Continuously seek opportunities to motivate and inspire students to achieve their educational and career aspirations.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
• High sales and engagement capability, including asking quality questions and generating leads.
• Highly organised with strong time‑management, results‑driven and goal‑oriented.
• Passionate about education and supporting people, especially within primary industries.
• Adaptable, proactive, computer‑literate and experienced in customer‑facing or sales environments.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check (WWCC).
