Group Security Operations Manager

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Group Security Operations Manager to shape a secure, safe and healthy environment for staff and customers. You will analyse enterprise‑wide security risks, develop controls and support the business across all geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate proactively with divisional business units, enterprise security and risk managers.
• Provide expert advice and develop programs that align security risk management with the bank’s risk policies and non‑financial risk framework.
• Manage security threats and critical incidents that could affect staff, customers and operations.
• Identify and implement operational and technology efficiencies to reduce overall security costs.
• Monitor budgets to ensure security plans are delivered within financial targets.
• Apply predictive intelligence to improve operational effectiveness for business and risk stakeholders.
• Lead security threat, vulnerability and crisis management across the enterprise, including executive support.
• Maintain and evolve the security control suite – policies, standards, procedures, physical and electronic controls, and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships with stakeholders and security teams.
• Experience delivering expert security advice and developing risk‑mitigation programs.
• Demonstrated leadership in handling security incidents and crisis events.
• Track record of driving cost‑effective security solutions and operational efficiencies.
• Strong understanding of security policies, standards, physical and electronic controls, and emerging security technologies.
